    Han Kim is a General Partner and co-founder of Altos Ventures, focusing on investments in the areas of mobile and software services. He also concentrates on companies with significant business in Asia, leveraging the firm's substantial contacts in the region, particularly in Korea. Han currently serves on the board of Bluehole Studios, Bookjam, Lohika, Pandora.tv, Spicus, TVU Networks, and Woowahan Brothers, and works closely with BCNX, Coupang, I-um, SeeControl and Vesta Corporation. He also led the firm’s prior investments in Nable Communications (153460), DemandTec (IBM), Instill (iTradeNetwork), Digital Market (Agile), Evant (Manhattan Associates), and iOwn (Citigroup).

    Before co-founding Altos Ventures in 1996, Han worked at Booz Allen & Hamilton solving strategic and operational issues for global media, retail and distribution companies. Previously, he was at Procter & Gamble. Han also served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Han served two years in Korea, commanding both U.S. and Korean soldiers.

    Han received an MBA from Stanford University and a BS from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

He has been in the mobile industry for 6 years and mainly handled web, messenger and sns services. Also he teachs mobile business model at the KAIST Graduate School of Business. Furthermore, he has published 47 books: Post smart phone - Internet of Things Paradigm, Mobile business model and self-development.

    My career started with management consulting in Accenture, leading corp-level strategy, manufacturing & development, global scale marketing and organization restructuring.

    Then I moved into the internet service/business strategist and product manager in NHN. Mainly I contributed to transformating of NHN's PC legacy into mobile paradigm. As a product owner I initiated and implemented several mobile services and platforms, such as search app, application/game store, eBook/Video store, social network, and in-game AD platform.

    In Camp mobile, NHN's mobile branch, I moved to the role of business developement and global growth. I initiate and execute the monetization platform, such as sticker store, commerce, advertisement and game platform. I have also gained a successful traction in japan/taiwan/spain market by targeted marketings and PRs.

    I am focused on "mobile platform" widely covering from product concepting to global expansion and from user acquisition to monetization.

    Prior to co-founding Storm8, Perry worked as an engineer at Facebook, where he led the payments team and architected Facebook Credits. The author of four patents, Perry received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University.

    Basil Hashem is the Senior Director of Mobile Application Development and Management at VMware. He is a technology industry veteran and has held various product and strategy positions at both consumer and enterprise-oriented companies. He was most recently Vice President of Products at Aptana (acquired by Appcelerator). His previous experience includes roles managing the mobile ad network at Admob (acquired by Google), the Firefox browser and the add-ons ecosystem at Mozilla, and the travel property at Yahoo!. He also co-founded CenterRun, a startup that provided one-touch application provisioning (acquired by Sun). Prior to that Basil held positions at AOL, Netscape, KPMG and NASA. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BS in Math/CS from UCLA.
